FY 2009 Levels Now Available

The Senate Appropriations Committee held its markup yesterday and reported its bill, with the measure passing 26-3.
On the House side, full committee mark up of the Labor-HHS-Education and other spending bills abruptly adjourned yesterday over partisan disputes regarding the Interior Appropriations bill and Republicans' attempts to address offshore oil drilling. As a result, the House Labor-HHS-Education bill will not be voted out of full Committee until after the July 4th recess, if at all.
