House 302(b) Allocations Public; Mark-Ups Scheduled
House Appropriations Committee will provide $153.1 billion for discretionary spending through the fiscal 2009 Labor-HHS-Education bill. This 302(b) allocation is $7.77 billion, or 5.3 percent, more than Bush's request and $7.97 billion, or 5.5 percent, more than the current level. The House fiscal 2009 302(b) allocations to the appropriations subcommittees are available below:
The House Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations Subcommittee will mark up its fiscal 2009 bill Thursday, June 19 and will hold full committee mark up June 25. The Senate Labor-HHS-Education Subcommittee plans to mark up its fiscal 2009 bill the week of June 23 (date TBD).
